With legislation on food safety practices changing and evolving seemingly all the time, keeping your sterilization and aseptic processing processes up-to-date is essential for anyone involved in the food and beverage industries.

JBT offers training sessions to equip teams – including those working in R&D, operations, and engineering – with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate this changing landscape.

Led by JBT Research & Technology Center Manager, Antonio Aldini, the sessions are tailored to address specific needs and challenges of our customers.

As Aldini explains, the workshops have been devised following a significant increase in requests for on-site training sessions from JBT customers, even large organizations, over recent years. “There is recognition of the value of tailored, hands-on training for addressing specific operational challenges,” he says.

What’s covered in the Training Sessions

  • Sterilization Techniques: Covers technologies from traditional tubular heat exchangers to innovative solutions such as the coil sterilizer and ohmic sterilizer.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Understanding regulatory frameworks and standards.
  • Practical Applications: Interactive sessions for real-world scenario applications at the JBT pilot plant in Parma, Italy.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Providing detailed documentation and Excel tools for independent sterilization process calculations.

Flexible Training Options

Customers can choose from the following options where it comes to when and where they would like to receive the Madera Tech Centertraining sessions:

  • On-Site Training: Direct expertise brought to the customer’s location, minimizing disruption.
    • Successful sessions have been conducted across Europe (Italy, Germany) and Mexico during 2024 to date.
  • JBT Facility Training: Teams can join in-person training at our pilot plant in Parma, Italy.
